Instructions on How to Enter
  1. Review the categories below.

    1. Field Promotions
      Promotions aimed at carriers or district managers to increase circulation, as well as any other type of carrier recognition program.
    2. Direct Marketing
      Promotions targeted directly at customers to increase sales. Examples include billboard, direct mail, and radio or television campaigns.
    3. Internet/Online Promotions
      Promotions related to the sales of print or electronic editions, as well as online campaigns related to marketing the brand.
    4. Subscriber Retention
      Promotions or programs aimed at any level within the circulation department. This category would include programs or campaigns for staff, contractors, carriers or CSRs designed to better retain current subscribers or improve service levels, including EZ Pay programs.
    5. Newspapers In Education (NIE)
      Programs designed to provide information to teachers on methods of using the newspaper as a classroom resource, as well as driving sponsorship of newspapers. This would include campaigns used to promote the local NIE brand.
    6. Single Copy Promotions
      Promotions intended to increase single copy sales through retail outlets, racks or street vendors. This includes point-of-sale branding materials not directly related to a specific promotion. This category includes 3rd party programs.
